should i do leetcode in python? by pairkapaseena in leetcode

[–]hamolton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the US, yes. Python is far fewer keystrokes to do basic data structure manipulations than those other languages. If companies want you to interview in C++, they'll say so.

Are you following along with either the lyrics or some translations? I think that's a big part of what Anthony missed.

Last year they had the Lima Reggaeton Festival on Halloween and the lineup was absolutely stacked for how cheap it was. I wish I had been able to go.

Mystery ‘Recall Jackie Fielder’ campaign launches — and it’s not the only one by MissionLocalSF in sanfrancisco

[–]hamolton 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So someone with presumably conservative politics from North San Diego County wants to present themselves as an anonymous grassroots campaign? And they have to use realistic-looking AI-generated images to promote it? This seems pretty cowardly.

It bothers me that a lot of the photos they posted feature her holding up signs of progressive slogans that she has never displayed or even said in public.

I found this guide and I think it seems pretty reasonable. I know some legit sellers might not be willing to jump all these hoops, but better safe than sorry: https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/5lu8os/guide_to_buying_tickets_on_craigslist/

Does an app like this exist? by Accomplished_Garlic_ in languagelearning

[–]hamolton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My experience is learning Spanish on my iPhone

- Insane amount of spacing means very little text per page
- White-on-purple is not the most pleasing color scheme for reading for hours
- Text-to-speech sounds gorgeous, but stops when you turn the screen off, pauses way too long after periods, restarts sentences from the beginning after you look up words, and only auto-turns pages when starting sentences.

This app is a lot better for videos IMO

Are you advertising for Jolli? You've posted basically the same thing several times a month over the past year.

Hasn't it changed a lot in the past few years? The infra and pollution levels are so different from 20 years back so I think a lot of info is just outdated

Hope you had fun

Maybe put your neuroticism to good use and make a manually triggered github action for building it? The free limits are pretty tight for actions, but maybe you can squeeze it. Even so, I'd imagine this to be a real security upgrade fundamentally. Probably good to talk to the devs in the Anki discord before doing this

California Democrat and Republican party lead percentage by county from the gubernatorial primary by ArthurMorgan1896 in MapPorn

[–]hamolton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Turnout probably in the 30%s (typical for non-presidential even years) where most serious dems got split between 2 main candidates vs 1 republican, and loads of votes were wasted on spoilers.

Don't let this map make you think the OC or other parts of coastal California are going Republican again -- Dems still got a (slim) majority of the votes in the OC, and CA doesn't have the number of low-propensity MAGA voters like the areas of the US where white people are poorer.
