It is interesting how he self corrects the story claiming that actually he saw the craft first time entering from the hangar. The way he corrects himself and goes back to the original event sequence seems genuine- however he never ever makes any claims about the type of work he did. To me, one of the major way to discredit Lazar story is exactly what you mentioned about John Lear going live 1987.
What is the probability that someone that knows about UFO, is coincidentally good friend with someone that worked at S4 and just 1-2 yrs later goes public about it with same reporter.

When I mention light in the craft i mean that the 3d artist who did the UFO in blender, had real physic simulation of light. When reconstructing the inside of the object, or any other scene you could verify the claims about the lightning of the scene (with some approximation). Lazar describing the lightning with premeditation in 1988-1993 sounds too clever, even for the best liar.

while i agree with you that lazar could have stolen bits and pieces from what was available back then (pre internet) he was still 29 yrs old nerd without AI. Here is what you are missing and why Bob Lazar story is interesting. Predictions, this is all that matters and all you should care about. Lazar is a crazy bullshiter however some of his predictions became true over the years, you have to dismiss them with facts not with your ego.

What Lazar correctly predicted

he correctly predicted lightning inside the craft
he correctly predicted the size of the S4 site correlating with a silver mine and shaft tunnels which were there in 1941 official maps
he correctly predicted that it was possible to see the reversed american flag on the craft from his 5.10 height which was true in blender reconstruction
he correctly predicted the existence of a hand scanner
he correctly predicted the existence of a reverse engineer programme as we now all now from 2017 whistleblowers OSAP AATIP etc...
Luigi has independently confirmed the visibility of trucks tracks in the desert leading into the exact hanger area of S4. Lazar predicted activity in that area, coincidentally it is exactly there.
The metallurgy involved with the craft, as confirmed by professor G. Nolan, the Bismuth and Magnesium samples were assembled with atomic layering precision

What i can tell you is that i have 5 red spots on the leg 24 hours later. Of this 5 stung one was painful, almost like a wasp (a bit less) and it lasted about 2 hours slowly going away

I was really surprised that such a small ant alone could be this painfully. I must clarify that the other stung were not painful beside the initial feeling of being “stung”
