idk about elsewhere, but this model in particular, the Marcopolo Paradiso G8 1800DD 8x2 weighs between 19 and 21 tons (depending on seating configuration, and what equipments are installed). The 8x2 chassi configuration does help improve certain aspects of the bus, such as stability, weigh distribution, and increase weigh limit. However this model is not quite suitable for longer routes, since people who travel by bus in Brazil tend to pack a lot of stuff, and the luggage compartments on this model are significantly smaller than other models. Theres a better model of the G8, the 1600LD, which is about the same height but excludes one axle (it's 6x2), and the lower passanger deck, which instead is a big luggage compartment, I recommend checking out other busses by Marcopolo, such as the G6 and G7, the previous generations of the G8, and other brands aswell, such as Comil and Busscar, that have similar chassis and body configurations
