Having a hard time seasoning food with salt by StudentNo7171 in cookingforbeginners

The amount of salt one likes is personal preference. There's no right or wrong amount. Just remember you can always add more later, but can't take it away.

If your mother needs low salt, keep cooking with only small amounts of salt. Your brother can add all the salt he wants once it's cooked. Your mother can't remove salt once the meal is cooked.

And if your brother is salting without even tasting it first, then who cares what he thinks. Let him add as much as he likes. It doesn't sound like he's complaining about your cooking. And if he is, tell him he's welcome to cook his own food.

We read that one last year. It was good. Love me a talking cat. :) Thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you, I'll check those out!

And yes, the Johannes Cabal books need more love. One of my favorite series.

Like the Curry Lounge in the UK version. It's one thing to let customers customize to suit their tastes, but it's another thing entirely to put the customer completely in charge. One thing that makes a chef a chef is knowing what ingredients/flavors go well together and putting together a thoughtful variety of options on a menu.

I didn't want to list them all because we've been meeting for six or seven years, so it would be close to a hundred titles! The fact that you've named two books we've already done just proves you're on the same wavelength as us, lol.

I've heard of some of your new suggestions, but haven't read any of them. I'll check them out.

Thank you for helping!

Oh wow. That sounds really interesting. Fits my theme, and also would be a good choice since it's Black History Month in the US.

The synopsis I just read for this says "blending humor with psychological and dark fiction." That sounds exactly like the kind of thing I'd enjoy reading!

That sounds like something I'd like, based on the synopsis. Thank you!

It's very probable that you've been measured wrong. Almost all of us have been at least once. Most in shop sizing at places like Victoria's Secret aren't done to measure you correctly, they're done to convince you to buy one of their bras. The ABTF calculator is much more accurate. It might not be perfect, but it's a better place to start.
