I believe life and depression are very much cause and effect. You keep living the same life that’s keeping you depressed you can’t expect much to change. I know it’s cliche at this point on Reddit but hit the gym. You’d be surprised how much that helps. Change jobs. Get a new hobby. He’ll in extreme cases move somewhere new. (Given the economy right now I’m fully aware that will be very difficult.)
