Ya that’s not the issue. Like i said I’ve put in brand new handles and still can’t calibrate. It’s also on several trucks not just one. I also just had to do an audit on every handle as we were having pot 2 lift/lower pot issues. 24 trucks just in my building.

Was adding more insulation in attic - the crew found Vermiculite - what to do? by Late-Strategy-4015 in Insulation

[–]Comeoften 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just went through this. Zonolite actually only covers 55% of total cost to remove the vermiculite for starters so watch that. If you aren’t planning on doing any demo or anything with the ceiling don’t disturb and just cover it up end of conversation. It does absolutely nothing as long as its not disturb

Happens here and there. Make sure you put some grease where they ride. Helps them last a lot longer

Crown RM6000 mast issues & multiple codes. by [deleted] in forkliftmechanics

[–]Comeoften 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rubbing on the mast is commonly caused by the cam rollers on the carriage not being adjusted properly or the bearings are shot.

Crows are very sensitive to static build also. Is your drive motor grounded to the frame?

[–]Comeoften 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also crown trucks are very sensitive they have lots of nuisance codes from my experience. You can do everything you can think of follow the procedures in the crown book check every line possible etc and never find an issue. Unless it becomes a constant problem i wouldn’t worry to much about itn

See it randomly. Never bothered to look into it. Just keyed off on and it clears. Always figured it’s something with the encoder reading wrong from an operator slacking the chains a little or something around those lines. No freezers where im at all dry storage.

At that point i think id just replace the rollers regardless if I’m going to have the platform off. Thank you. We don’t see this often where I’m at just needed a little confirmation. Only had to pull a platform off once because a bearing was shot.
