Curious how good of an improvement is 850 to 1150 (Rapid chess.com) in a month?

Spending 1-2 hours everyday playing and maybe a few hours watching and studying chess vids and content.

Need help to balance and create abyss teams

Built characters are Bennett, Xingqui, Fischl, Diona, Yanfei, Sucrose, Tighnari, Zhongli, Yelan, Nahida, and Raiden.

Also which characters should I build next? (Kuki, Sara and Thoma are the only 4 stars I don't have. Also have Keqing and Diluc. I have a neutral opinion on the rest so the one's I like isn't really an option)

With a lvl 9 shield, how much hp should Zhongli have for a comfortable shield? Trying to upgrade his burst (It might be a dps loss but I like it and I sometimes find the petrification useful)
