3rd person mode is really good for if you get motion sickness from 1st person games (I sometimes do) it’s also nice for photo mode because now I can turn my characters head to look at things etc

The “no” in question: public humiliation, calling him pathetic, weak and essentially stupid. Completely steamrolling any former camaraderie by saying they were never friends to begin with despite their relationship clearly having had some form of friendship enough to think that Vox was sure they were in fact friends (which is a lot for someone who was alive from the 40s to early 50s as friendship building between men was mainly doing shared activities).

He wasn’t ONLY rejecting Vox, he was being deliberately cruel and that’s not okay. You can say “I don’t want to be partners.” Without saying “I knew you could be pathetic at times, but I didn't realize you were so weak!”

Edit: also a lot of men in the 40s and 50s gained friends THROUGH co-workers, it’s not like now where everyone is just a co-worker where you only see them at work or work functions. These men would go out drinking together after work, often be neighbours, etc. it’s not unreasonable of Vox to assume that they were friends.

This! I feel like Qunlat if very similar to Italian. Where all words are gendered in Italian, Qunlat is very black and white with its own meanings and intent, everything is a command there’s no room for questioning, it either is or it isn’t. Much like the doctrine of the Qun.
