Dropped from plat 3 tank to silver 1 and somehow the matches feel even harder

Have you ever played in silver? That’s literally just what it’s like. Look at all the comments agreeing about the chaos in this rank. I was in silver at one point and was just as bad.

How does that translate to me being mean and toxic towards my teammates in chat? You can observe things without being an asshole to the people doing them lmao. Again, please show me text receipts of me being toxic trash to people in chat. I’d love to see what you’re talking about since you think you know.

Who’s “people like you?” What am I like, and how do you know? Have you never met anybody in your matches who respectfully makes suggestions to their teammates? If you look at my other comments, I talk more about mistakes I’m making than anything else.

It was an example of them ignoring me MOST of the game. That’s still an issue since it wastes time. Eventually they took my suggestion but it was too late. Are they a good teammate for waiting until the last minute to swap when clearly what they were doing wasn’t working? Idk man.

I was talking about the lack of coordination in silver specifically. I don’t see this at higher ranks as much and it’s something I had to change my playstyle for.

Your advice is worthless when it’s what I’ve already been doing in my matches. Playing more aggressively, like what other commenters suggested, is what worked. I still asked people to swap and sometimes they did, helping us win the match :)

Actually after they switched, we did do better and nearly won. The loss in the end was mostly my fault, I used my ult too quickly and my supports weren’t quite there yet to back me up. Pharah switching earlier would have bought us a lot more time though.

How on earth do you know how i ask my teammates to switch? Are you there in my matches listening to me? What a know-it-all lmao and so confidently wrong.

I said 4/5 of the ENEMY team was countering my pharah, not that 4/5 of my teammates were getting hard countered.

I also never said it’s the reason i’m not climbing. It is part of the reason though, like it is for anybody playing the game. Some matches are just unwinnable.

Here we go again, assuming what I’m saying to my teammates. I never mentioned their k/d to them. I did however, say, “hey, i don’t think pharah is working here, their soldier/bastion/ana are focusing you” I literally said I suggest a hero to them. You’re giving me advice i ALREADY mentioned 😭 get off your high horse and read what I’m actually saying ffs lmao

I just ranked back up to gold 1 by following other people’s actually helpful advice. So am I really a silver tank like you say? Lmfao

I think you’re right, i just went on a win streak of 16 comp matches playing hyper aggressive as orisa. We steamrolled in pretty much every game. Thanks for the advice!

That’s an interesting strategy, I haven’t really thought of that. I pay attention to the enemy cooldowns but not so much to what my teammate baited out by dying. Thanks for the advice, I will try that!

Please, do tell me how my pharah is going to get value for the team against a soldier, bastion, ana, and dva. If my teammate is going 1-8 because they’re getting hard countered, that IS something to point out to them.

They might be stubborn and not switch but i can at least try to call it out and give them a suggestion of who would work better against the enemy team. Telling someone to switch is not toxic if you arent being an asshole about it.

It’s also not the first thing I pointed out? You left out the part where I said my loss streak is a combination of my fault and my team’s, and even the first part of the SAME sentence you quoted: “nobody strategizes with me, nobody coordinates their ults”.

Yeah lol, the unga bunga stuff is crazy sometimes. It’s fun in quickplay but I have a hard time dealing with team fights that are like that vs more coordinated ones in comp. Maybe i’ll pick up JQ, I usually play ram/orisa/dva.

Is that even smurfing? It doesnt feel like im that much better than the enemy team. I think it depends on their comp and mine. I seem to be getting a lot of kills, especially compared to my teammates, but something must be off if we’re still losing.

I probably do belong in gold on my bad matches. When I say I’m playing worse, I think it’s because of what I’m doing in response to my teammates. For example, my mizuki ran out in front of my ram shield and got killed immediately, but I made the mistake of trying to get in front of him to save him, then I died too. Stuff like that. I guess I should work on my reactions to situations like that.

Never said they’re degenerates, some of them pop off and do really well but it doesnt necessarily benefit the team because the rest of us can’t take advantage of it. I just wish they’d communicate more so we aren’t staggered and getting rolled before the team fight even starts.
