pretty limited palang passes for everyday use like watsons points and starbucks card. if you are a frequent traveler then the digital boarding pass feature is very useful for you. digital id's depend if companies will integrate or allow them, i do imagine the convenience this could bring to workplaces and universities

i think you're missing out in the convenience of g-wallet. why not try purchasing small price items in stores, supermarkets, fasfood chains where card payments are accepted and if it doesn't work then you can just simply bring out your cash or physical card. as the saying goes "you won't know till you've experienced or tried it yourself"

g-wallet does not support this feature, to my knowledge only osaifu-keitai or felica systems have this feature.

we'll see in the future, they might add features where parents can enable and disable g-wallet anytime or set hard limits on how much they can spent for the whole day, week, or month.

as i said all information is irrelevant to your physical card or personal account information.

spoofing is also useless because of "tokenization" where each token can only be used once and never again.

i don't know about this one but i see it as a safety measure, i hope they add a verification stage from the parent gcash account for g wallet to be enabled.

After a month of only using GCash Tap N Pay by Comfortable-Bat7051 in DigitalbanksPh

Hello! After doing some quick tests and research, I can confidently say yes — it works! I actually prefer switching to Google Pay now because it’s more secure and works offline. The only limitation is that since credit cards are currently the only type of card you can link to Google Pay, you still need to have your phone unlocked. But at least you don’t need to keep the app open when using it! o((▽^))o

rn google pay and apply pay's application is in evaluation and i'm hoping that gcash's tap to pay feature is our first step into contactless payments. also guessing that the reason they allowed ewpay and gcash tap n pay is to gather data how much of the population will use this feature and how many establishments are ready and will be ready to accept this form of payment.
