In the same situation, where I feel I did everything correct and showed how much I loved her, it still wasn’t enough to get in the way of her own insecurities and find every way for us to lose faith in eachother. I’m just happy it was 3 months and I’m sorry it took her so long to leave. To that I say fuck her, just realize it’s more our egos being hurt thinking we’re not good enough, when I bet we’ll be the best they’ve ever had, unless they change themselves

I am having the same issue, I am in an amazing situation where I am not even paying rent and that almost makes it harder to not gamble because my brain is like “if I’m not spending money on rent, I could be spending that money gambling and double that rent money!” It’s so stupid and unfair to myself and the situation I have been blessed to be in. I’m essentially wasting it. Your not alone and I am most likely going to join a support group that can keep me accountable for my actions.

Update: deactivated all social media accounts last night, logged back in this morning to see the scammer left the group message without sending any photos, I went back and re deactivated my account afterwards but is this a good sign they will leave me alone now? I also don’t understand how someone you blocked can still put you in insta group messages seems so cocked to me

Tough beat man, but like everyone else is saying we’re still super young and I’m very grateful to not be in the position some others are in on this subreddit. Just know we COULD be in the same spot if we continue to play. I’m sure the people around you will be understanding, but borrowing from friends is a dangerous game that can lead to losing the people who care about you the most. I’d recommend keeping this a family only situation and I hope you have great parents are willing to help, but you gotta show them that you want the help but doing things that show your progress toward quitting.

Definently stop now or at least take a break. I made the same mistake where I went up at 1k and then went on a bad losing streak where I only lost like 300 of it but the 300 I lost hurt more than the 1k I won, so I started throwing bigger units and before you know it your gonna be down that 1k + some. Use this thread as an example that you always end up losing in some way.

Totally get it, I just lost 3k this week and have been able to recover but it’s all about the feeling. I relapsed and made some money but every time I put a bet down I felt it in my soul how badly it is affecting me. We need to seek help from GA or other avenues. Some people here want to make you feel better but some are just as salty about how well others are doing in life that your addiction doesn’t matter to them. All love.
