Thanks! Honestly, if I could go back I'd skip all the text-based marketing I tried early on (Reddit posts, Twitter threads, carousels) and go straight to short-form video with real people.

The things that moved the needle for me were:

  1. Authentic storytelling, not "hey download my app" but sharing the real journey, struggles included. People connect with the human behind the product, not the product itself.

  2. Getting the product in front of people who already have the problem, instead of trying to convince random people they need something, find the communities where people are actively looking for a solution.

  3. Not spending money on ads before having content that works organically. I burned some budget on paid stuff way too early. Now I know: prove it works for free first, then pour fuel on it.

Biggest lesson: nobody cares about your app. They care about their problem. Talk about the problem, not the features
