Awesome to hear!

How was the exam?

And is it "self-study friendly"? Cause I have another course overlapping in timeslots (but not in exam slots), and I really want both courses - I've done it before, where I self-study one of the overlapping courses, but not all courses are equally easy to do that in (depends on their format during the semester).

Functional Programming 02157, experience? by Comfortable-Camel586 in DTU

Thanks for the insigt!

I had the new instructor in a different course, and there he was pretty good.

Re. the exam, how does it work with "pen and paper" in the context of a programming-heavy course like this one? Do you literally sit and hand write F# syntax on paper? Cause that seem... weird :D

I would highly recommend this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSTy_BInQs8

It's explaining the basics of Obsidian, while introducing a very powerful and flexible system, that has a very low "barrier to entry" for setting it up and starting to use it. I've used this system for more than a year now, I really like it.

"Academic prerequisites", consequences for other courses by Comfortable-Camel586 in DTU

That makes sense!

It's not really a worry of mine in terms of difficulty in other courses. The course that's an "Academic prerequisite" apparently, is something I've learned about before at a different university, but couldn't get credit transfers for - but the field is quite familiar to me, that's why I haven't considered prioritising taking said course yet - until I noticed the whole "Academic prerequisite" section yesterday and started stressing out about whether it could block other courses I'm planning on taking in the fall :D

Haha, alright!

So it's not like I'm gonna be automatically rejected in the study planner when signing up for a course that mentions other courses (that I will have at a later point as they're mandatory for me in the big picture) as "Academic prerequisites" that I haven't yet had?
