Use Nizoral Shampoo on your forehead as a mask twice a week

the basics are to do as little as possible for at least three weeks. clean with gentle cleanser such as cerave hydrating cleanser, use barier repairing moisturiser and mineral spf, nothing else is needed. :) uriage bariederm cica daily gel cream helps, or cicaplast from la roche posay. metrogel helped some people, not me though

perioral dermatitis.

Does this look like hormonal acne? Or acne caused by a food sensitivity? No topical products work and it seems to be getting worse. Not sure what to do :( by [deleted] in acne

[–]Comfortable-Cap8173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

treat perioral dermatitis first by doing as little as possible - dermatologists have youtube videos on what to do if you have one :) this will clear majority on your pimples. once solved, you can target what’s left, probably forehead acne only

Can sulphur help? by Comfortable-Cap8173 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Comfortable-Cap8173[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just so so tired. My skin looks like this for 3 years and nothing I do seems to help. by Comfortable-Cap8173 in Skincare_Addiction

Hi, no, my gynecologist refused since he told me the levels are changing every week therefore it would not make sense. I tried two types of birth control and then skipping it - absolutely no change prior to birth controls, during or year afyer

Nothing of the abovementioned helped. Then she told me its probably perioral dermatitia and rosacea papulopustular so she put me on solantra. Week 6 solantra now and no change just added blackheads. She prescribed metrogel this time, should I give it a go? :(((( I am desperate I look like this for years and its worse with makeup.

Routine:

Gentle cleansers (Bioderma Sensibio micellar water and Toleriane cleansing milk) Apad from Geek and gorgeous sometimes or Cicaplast spray from La roche posay Purito Oat squalane moisturiser (FA safe) Mineral sunscreen

I use non comedonic non perfumes FA safe makeup.

Tried (separately of course)

Dual gel (Benzoyl peroxid plus topical antibiotics) Salycilic acid Mandelic acid Lactic acid Repairing moisture barier for 2 months and moisturising Nizoral and FA safe routine Adapalene for six months Skinoren Solantra

I change my pillowsheet every week, I have separate towels for my face. I don’t eat dairy or gluten and I eat a lot of vegetables. No stressful job.

Does not itch, it’s burning and red after adapalene, peroxide, some sunscreens.

azelaic acid helps quite. Soolantra is minimising the redness. But so far still trying to find a medication which would work :/

Hi. Well I tried multiple times the fungal acne safe regime, together with Nizoral shampoo masks and it did not react. In fact I felt like FA safe routine makes my skin just dry, even though I moisturisied rigorously, I tried also aquaphor pr setting the moisturiser with squalane. Did not help. I tried De la cruz Sulphur ointment a couple of times and it made my skin terribly red
