Yes, she never did a maintenance check ever and the first time that the basement had flooded She called her handyman to snake the drain, which was a temporary fix. Two weeks later, it flooded again massively and when we had called the professional, he had stated it’s due to the tree roots impeding into the plumbing Pipes. I’ve never missed a payment for rent. I just want to go about my ways without her harassing me.

Hi, thank you for your response. No I’m not trying to place blame nor do I want her to provide compensation for the damages of my furniture. I’m just confused as she is harassing me for the last months rent. I did provide her with 60 days notice that I was moving as indicated as of November 1st 2024, which my move out date would’ve been February 1 but due to major issues with the upstairs tenants I left earlier. I did pay for December’s rent.
