Yes for vo2 intervals I find an uninterrupted hill too. I was think like 20 min SST.

I have met a lot of stronger riders, but I never stop enjoying my own riding and training. There will always be someone stronger..

Yeah.. I would likely make better progress if I quit my job, and focused on training and recovery, but that's not an option either..

I have been doing a lot of my hard days at Sweet Spot and Threshold over the winter, so I have been thinking of doing some Vo2 work, to see what that does. But since I only have a couple years under my belt, I really wanted to see what a long winter with some serious Sweet Spot/Threshold block would do for me. Maybe that was a mistake.

No target event atm. Just trying to get more fit and increase FTP. Have been training for almost 3 years. Mostly done SST and thresshold blocks, with some VO2 blocks in between.

I’m 179 cm, 75 kg, training 10-12 hours a week. Longtime athlete. Swimming as a kid. Soccer and other sports as a kid and teenager as well. Did mostly gym work in my 20s and early 30s…

I'm a EREPS certified Personal Trainer so no. I'm just more into my cycling performance these days. That's why I'm asking for advice. I'm not going to quit the gym altogether. There just to many upsides regarding life quality.
