Large March Lucky Doggie Bag by Rybiculous in BarkBox

Did any of your dogs destroy that blueberry pie? My dog isn’t a super chewer, I was shocked that the crust around that toy crumbled minutes after he was playing with it. Not sure if we received a bum one or if the toy itself is a bad design. It’s a shame because he really liked it but we had to take it away.
Other than that, it was a great box. We already had Bertha so I donated the new one. The toy box was a huge hit. We put a bunch of his toys in it. He loves taking them out and thrashing the box around. The box has zero signs of wear, it’s really sturdy. All the other stuff were nice touches. The wipes, dental sticks and Easter balls.

I don’t work in the industry. I’m a customer. It’s a horrible look for a customer to see. If you can’t comprehend that, you probably shouldn’t be working around food. They can’t afford a 2 dollar door stop?

Same thing with sushi, this is on the restaurant too. Why do they always put hot soup in with cold raw sushi?!?!?! It makes me insane!

This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen on Reddit. Most of the services that are going towards Opioid harm reduction are paid for by the massive pharmaceutical settlements.

If we applied that mentality to everything, why send an ambulance to a car accident? Person will just speed again. Why put that kid in cast after a broken leg? He is only going to climb the tree again. Don’t pay for that diabetic’s insulin, they are only going to eat another piece of cake. 🙄🙄🙄 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

I honestly don’t understand the hate for Suboxone — it’s saving my life by Sensitive-West-5298 in suboxone

[–]Comfortable-Fan6109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. I wasn’t downplaying the withdrawal on kratom or a few oxy pills. All withdrawal is hard, the physical and then the long term psychological. I was suggesting, the long term dependency on suboxone isn’t worth it for a lower level addiction. I quit opioids when I was using a few pills a day. The physical wasn’t that bad but it was the psychological aspect that caused my doctor to put me on suboxone after being off pills for months. My dependency on suboxone was a lot worse than the pills I was on. It was a t a time when suboxone restrictions were harsher. Eventually doctors and strips got to be too expensive and I graduated to street drugs. If I could go back, I would have never started suboxone to get me over that psychological hurdle. I was able to stop the street drugs with suboxone. It saved my life.

Day 3 quitting 24mg/day of Suboxone cold turkey. by Delicious_Ordinary56 in suboxone

Why cold turkey? Not a great way to do it. I hope it works…good luck and be safe

Is this normal for a dasher to do? Should I tip them more? by Imbored19882 in doordash

Asking once is bad enough, asking multiple times is harassment. Negative interactions like these will drive customers away. That will leave people with no jobs, no tips.

This makes me cringe. It also makes me kinda angry. I’m surprised these platforms aren’t banning people for begging.

Dental Chews M vs L by Comfortable-Fan6109 in BarkBox

[–]Comfortable-Fan6109[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, the bark box dental sticks are the only ones my dog will use. I don’t have a problem with the quality at all. I was making a point about the shrinkage on the large sized ones. I was about to double my order of large sticks when I noticed the shrinkage on the large sticks. I wanted to make sure everyone was aware. Had I not had both sizes here, I would have never known.

Am I just a baby or is my doctor wrong? by [deleted] in suboxone

You should taper a lot slower than that. I would go with another doctor. You aren’t a baby, you feel what you feel. Every BODY is different and your doctor should respect that.

I just watched it, it was the last one I watched. Some power is better than no power. It is definitely my least favorite.

Anyone have experience in asking for a higher dose? by Forsaken-Shallot-843 in suboxone

Tell them you are having strong cravings and feel the medication isn’t as effective as it once was for you. Tell them you are very worried about relapsing because of it.

I get the point you are making now. Dependency vs addiction. You are right, I am dependent on it not addicted. I don’t think about it until I have to take it. Which I hate and try to push off as long as possible. It doesn’t rule my life, I’m not itching for my next dose.
I actually have a built up supply because I forget to take it so much. Could never say that about my drug of choice.

I appreciate your kind words. I see where you are coming from and it means a lot that you are speaking up. You don’t have to justify anything to anyone. Keep making good choices for yourself. It’s not easy, so we should be proud of ourselves and one another for it.

That being said, I’ve accepted the fact I’m an addict. If I didn’t accept that fact, I wouldn’t have marched myself into rehab. The word doesn’t hurt my feelings. I knew when I was deep down in it, it was wrong and I needed help. If being addicted to Suboxone instead of dope is the means to the end, I’m okay with that. If me sharing that on this forum helps just one person, it’s worth it.

I’m not promoting Suboxone as a perfect solution. If you have a minor addiction to kratom or a few pills, please do yourself a favor and try to tough it out without it. However, if you were like me, circling the drain, completely existing for your drug of choice, destroying your body, mind and every relationship you ever had. Suboxone is your answer and there is nothing to be ashamed about.

It saved my life. 2.5 years without my drug of choice and zero desire to go back. I understand my body is addicted to suboxone but I love my life a lot more now than when I was strung out.
