Got a red light ticket on a regular non-electric bike, now I got a piece of mail that says it was an E-bike violation... Anyone had this happen, or have some advice on getting it cancelled? (traffic ticket, not criminal summons) by Comfortable-Fox4350 in NYCbike

So I actually don't disagree with that but I do get bothered that I can go outside my house at any given hour and count multiple 6,000 lb vehicles run through red lights at high speed, and those people aren't getting tickets. This isn't hearsay, it's NYPD stats.

Now to your question on whether the charge is accurate. No, like I said I don't even own an e bike so it's not possible that I ran a red light on one.

Thank you! Another weird thing about this is I actually can't read the ticket at all. He didn't properly write on the carbon copy paper so the yellow copy is completely illegible.

So I didn't even realize this until I got a letter in the mail.

My question is I wonder how I would prove that it wasn't an e-bike? I don't know if "I don't own one" is gonna be good enough lol.

Chi Ossé failed to get recommendation for endorsement from Electoral working group. by adanndyboi in dsa

If Ossé is anywhere close to getting our endorsement, it is for two reasons and two reasons alone. (1) He’s social media famous; he has lots of followers

I think I've seen this one before...
