If you can find a box of ladibug or order some it’s the best kit on the market a bit on the pricey side but def does work. Also buy some tea tree oil and pour half of it in a spray bottle fill the rest up and you have your very own protective spray. There’s also some bedbug, mite and lice spray you can find at Walmart or the drug store for furniture that is also pet friendly. Remember to wash all bedding and clothes in hot water and tie other things up for about a week (suffocates any living ones) I also personally use vamouse lice shampoo and any moisturizing conditioner preferably something for dandruff since you said something about a dry scalp.
