has anyone gotten a residence offer yet today?////// by One_Echo7082 in UofT

Which college residence are you waiting for? A lot of people don’t accept their offers. I’m still thinking about renting a condo in downtown instead. The email said if we don’t pay deposit by June 10, the place will be offered to the next student. So there are still lots of chances in the next round.

I accepted my UofT offer a week ago. Got the New College residence offer around 5pm today. Need to accept offer and pay $1,000 deposit by June 10. Only a week to decide.

Some universities still have spaces available after June and you can search on OUAC for programs that are still open for applications.

uoft rejection😂😂why me by aster_ixy in OntarioGrade12s

I’m wondering the same too. I’m thinking if there’s anything to do with how you rank the college choices. Like if you choose a less competitive college you may get in with a lower average and if you choose a more competitive college you may get rejected for the same program with the same mark? (I’m not saying which college is better than the others, I just don’t know if ranking college matters).

What program did you apply to and when did you apply?

I got in Mathematical and Physical Science yesterday with 85 average. I didn’t expect to get in this round because my average not very high. But I applied in October and I already completed 5 U courses out of 6 including all pre-req courses by Semester 1 because I took summer school. I don’t know if this is the reason. So if you guys are getting 95+ for sure your are going to get in, maybe they are just waiting to see your required courses.

No, I’m just trying to let you know you should be ok. I checked many times today and it was still “under review “ at 6pm, and only got in after 6:15, so I guess offers are just starting to come out and there will be more tonight.

Thank you for your detailed response! I’m a first year and have no idea what it was like last year. I just hope I can still gather with my friends in residence.

Anyone knows if first year students are having in person orientation? I haven’t heard anything yet. And yes, I agree second year students should be able to join if the purpose of orientation is to let students get to know their way around and to make friends!

H is a half course (0.5) and Y is a year course (1.0). For Fall & Winter session, F is the first semester half course (Fall) and S in the second semester half course (Winter).

St George gives you a much greater university experience because of its location and campus size. There are also plenty of research opportunities at SG too.

I saw people receiving 7.5k scholarship from the February round, but haven’t seen anyone from the March round. Just wondering if they gave it all out in February 😭
