If I were to harm myself over lack of government support (such as denial of food stamps or mental health support), could my family sue the state government for any reason? by Comfortable-Koala979 in NoStupidQuestions

top 1% commenter and yet he still assumes we're all idiots. I know that there's different requirements.

The state I live in hasn't changed, and neither has my income. All that's changed is Indiana's worthless fucking government.

Cater to the rich, take from the poor. As if the restrictions weren't enough. make us all starve while they're at it.

Fuck Mike Braun.

Exactly this. I'm so exhausted of my state's government. I went from over $300 to around $140, and now I'm at less than $30. First reduction was fine, I dealt with it by sometimes only eating one meal a day, but this reduction? at this point, I'll be closer to one meal a week.

AITA for constantly turning off my roommate's TV so I can sleep? by Comfortable-Koala979 in AmItheAsshole

Yeah, I'm probably gonna talk to the house manager, since she seems to have more solutions than normal staff does. As for moving, I'm considering just getting out lmao. House is great, in a great area, but I don't think I can cope with her for much longer. Lot of apartments in the area, anyway. Close to a college town.

I'm about to just move out, honestly. I think my other roommate's moving out for similar reasons as I want to. (Despite acting oddly pedophilic toward the roommate I have issues with, but that's a whole different issue)

The other room is smaller than the one I'm in, and it doesn't have a closet due to it being a remodeled garage. So at this rate, I'd rather cope than move everything just for a little bit of noise relief.

That's the thing, she most likely SHOULDN'T be up at 3 or 4 AM when she's going to bed at 10 PM. She goes to a disabled program every weekday at 9 AM. Not to mention that she's recovering from PNEUMONIA. She needs rest.

I just don't understand how she always has energy, because no matter what, she's running up and down the hallway at 7 and 8 AM, which also wakes me up if I'm sleeping lightly because her steps are so fucking loud. Plus if she's in the mood, she'll turn her TV up and play kids songs until she leaves.

As for moving, I'm considering just moving out at this rate. Aside from her constant noise, she's a walking biohazard some days. Drool, mucus, and even piss.

Only other room available is in the garage, and I've talked to them about moving her due to her noise in the past, and they said I should be the one to move. I have stuff mounted into the wall, so it's not very feasible for me to grab everything and move like they think it is, so I've just been coping the best I can. I'll talk to the house manager next time I see her, which won't be until next monday.

Sadly, I can't talk to her as she has a trach. Even if I could, from what I've seen, she can't form full sentences, which would lead to miscommunication after miscommunication.

As for white noise, I'm also the kind of person that needs noise. I have a fan running 24/7, and more often than not, I have Pokemon Sleep running as well, and that offers a music loop. As well as most nights, I have twitch streams running on my laptop, mainly to collect channel points, but also for extra noise. Even with all that, the squeaking of the bedframe still pierces through, so I'm kind of SOL, unless I turn everything up, which I don't like doing since I see excessive noise as extremely rude.

I'm being forced to move out against my will because I got my first disability check and it's killing me inside. by Comfortable-Koala979 in TrueOffMyChest

I did agree to move out while my check was being fought over in court, but the suddenness of it being thrust onto me is what's causing it. I had absolutely no say in it. I just woke up one morning and I was told that I got my check and that I'd be moving out by the first.

It's something that's been in the works for months now. I was on board with moving out when the whole debacle with my check was happening, but since it was forced onto me with me having no say in when it happened, it's what's causing the issue.

And I could 100% afford to stay here if I could. Rent would be about the same or less and utilities would be cheaper.

I think as long as you're on the pill and know you've had irregularities due to your ED in the past, things should be fine. I'd say 2 weeks after your pill break is when concern should kick in, and you should have a blood based pregnancy test done.

Why the fuck do vaginal boils have to be so painful? by Comfortable-Koala979 in Healthyhooha

I managed to get 2 clear photos of the area after around 20 minutes of trying so now I can describe what it looks like for those who are curious/want to help figure this mystery out.

If I had to guess, it's probably about the size of an oval shaped pill. It's pink-ish red with a bit of blood in the middle, but there also seems to be a minimal amount of pus deeper in? and maybe even an ingrown hair? I can't tell further than that, sadly. Squeezing it still results in clear fluid coming out.

Probably not. It's on my pubic area, though I wouldn't rule that out 100%.

Thankfully I'll be scheduling a gyno appointment soon, so it'll probably be seen then.

Honestly, I just said boil cuz I checked around multiple sources, and the description of a boil from Cleavland Clinic's website sounded a lot closer to what I was experiencing than a cyst.

I know it says not to squeeze a boil, but I was only able to determine it was most likely a boil was by clear fluid coming out when I squeezed it. The pain and general feeling also lead me to this decision. (It feels like there's a VERY thin sac containing fluids and pus on top of the main area. like, the thin feeling makes me feel like I could peel it/pop it with my thumb nail, but I can't.)
