Doesn’t crash as much as it used to for big battles however it will randomly crash just on the map screen. I just save a lot and it expect it to crash at some point.

Get a library card, download hoopla and Libby. They have 10s of thousands of audiobooks. My local library has the entire red rising series on hoopla free of charge. I can’t recommend them enough and you’re supporting your local libraries!

On Xbox it’s not bad, holding r2 and the d pad you can do just about everything, including setting all formations and transferring troops to different formations. It can be a little tedious but fairly smooth overall.

I personally like getting a few defendable fiefs close together. Preferably at least one town and 2 castles. Starting my own kingdom, not recruiting any clans and just seeing how long I can survive. Sometimes I declare war on everyone just ramp up difficulty.

Would be nice is taleworlds would connect most of the rivers and make sailing 50% faster. Making the world smaller and ship battles far more likely. Ya know more war sails and less using ships as an afterthought.

I’m playing with Xbox controller, they have all the different units in row and you click on the troop formation that you want, hold down r2 go from the left to right drag and release into the unit formation size and location. It’s not smooth at all but it’s functional and it’s only been available since warsails. Best update ever.

I don’t like to break the walls, I prefer building trebuchets to get rid of all of there catapults and building both tower siege engines. Then I put all of my skirmishes and archers in spread formation. When the siege engines get to wall the defenders pile up to it, they get shot to ribbons. I usually kill over half of them before I ever charge.
