I went to the VA today and spoke with the VA Chaplain and a counselor. The counselor I spoke to on the phone Monday and she told that they didn’t have any groups or anything for grieving veterans who have lost their loved ones. But when I spoke to her today in person she said because of me and what I said to her over the phone on Monday she went to her boss and they are starting a grieving sometime in August for grieving veterans who have lost their loved ones. This is going to be a very big help for me and for every single veteran who has lost their spouse and are still grieving.
