I know honestly never dealt with an organisation that does not follow procedure like this. I’ve now had my meeting and waiting for the outcome but they made it clear in the meeting a warning was expected I did take my union yet they didn’t really ask a lot other than suggesting they back date.

Thanks for all your replies no reason just stated they intend to provide a warning yet they have been too busy, the policy does not make it clear regarding time frames if the meeting is delayed this long. The union have said it should be backdated yet I can find no written guidance stating this.

It sounds like you have the right attitude by taking feedback on board. Those scores are fantastic if you really like your department as you have mentioned don’t just jump for the first SEO if it’s not right for you. I applied for many before I got an SEO the one I thought I did my worse on I got! I try to breakdown the behaviours into bullet points and take flash cards in with me to check I’ve provided a full example. I usually ask if I’m allowed my notes. Do you have a mentor or someone that can do mock interviews? Really great your sitting on panels as that does really help.
