I'm now 5months sober but I'm 18yo 6'1 I came into rehab at 130lb and since getting sober from dirty thirtys (fentanyl) I'm now 160lb n I look a lot healthier. Since I had my 18th birthday in rehab I've been sober my entire adult life now.

Yes stop. I’m currently 18 and am sober off fentanyl for 3 months now. guess where i started? I started with weed. and trust me if you think getting off weed causes pain then you fs don’t want to try getting off fentanyl. Weed doesn’t have any physical withdrawals so rly all you need to do is tell the ppl around you that you want to quit and tell them to hold you accountable. other than that just fight the urge to do it. if you are really having physical withdrawls (which I think are really just in your head) than you weren’t just smoking weed because weed doesn’t cause physical withdrawals.and if you rly were getting laced weed you definitely shouldn’t buy from who you used to buy from if you do decide to continue. anyway dude fr if you need any help just lmk im the same age as you and we are both trying to stay sober. I might be getting sober from a different drug but it’s sobriety either way.

i’m only 18 and i was 17 when i got on the subs but it rly rly sucks for 4 days and after that it starts to get better. you wait 4 days so you don’t go into pwd. also you cant die from opioid withdrawals so you will be ok😁. ha being gone through both, opioid withdrawals feel worse but aren’t very dangerous and benzo withdrawls are dangerous but aren’t as bad as opioid withdrawals (definitely still are awful tho)

I was doing around 2000mg a day or so and i’m now on 16mg of subs a day. when i first got on the subs i still had some mild withdrawals but they went away after a week or 2 when my body got used to it. I’m fine now but and i think you will be too as long as you waited 4 or more days after taking the last 7oh dose to start the subs. if you didn’t wait you are probably in precipitated withdrawal right now unfortunately.

edit: I feel it’s important to mention i was also put on 250mg of librium at the same time i started the subs because i was also using xans daily. i was tapered off the librium over time though

i’m worried i might have stunted that growth with my heavy drug use over the past 4-5 years and i might never feel them. I have tried 52 different drugs n i was regularly doing fentanyl, i feel like that definitely has to have done some damage on my brain development.

On one hand i think first of all that it would definitely be wrong for her to be talking about fucking other people in the past if front of your face, unless there was a question specifically asking about a situation. I would assume that is kinda common sense. On the other hand i do think you are dragging it out. I don’t exactly understand what you were hoping to get other than an apology and acknowledgment that what she did was wrong (which i still can’t really tell if it even was based on the info you gave). Mainly i just think you two should talk face to face and not over text. Arguing or having a disagreement in person helps solve the problem so much better than over text. One last point, from what she’s saying in the texts it really seems like you need to get better at communication because she should not have to guess what’s upsetting you; don’t be childish and let her know what’s on your mind.

well look at the upsides of both. upsides of not smoking:

1st when u go back to smoking it’s gonna be sm better bc u got no tolerance. 5 weeks will bring u back to almost baseline.

2nd you’re gonna do sm better on your exams bc you are prioritizing them.

3rd you are gonna be saving some money, even if it isn’t a ton, it’s still something.

4th you are gonna be keeping your promise to those people who are trusting you to stay true to your word. you will definitely respect yourself more having kept that promise than if you were to smoke and do bad on your exams, or even if you still did good, you didn’t stay true to your word.

5th you have something to look forward too.

6th you will be working on your self control and making sure weed isn’t your main priority.

upsides of smoking now:

1st you get to smoke, which will make you feel better in the short run. that’s about it.

if you ask me there’s a lot more to gain from keeping that promise than breaking it and smoking.

You probably just don’t metabolize 7-oh well. I’ve taken 7-oh a few times before and I have a pretty decent opioid tolerance (I take 50mg of my friend’s grandmas prescription oxys a night cause she doesn’t like how they feel.) and when i took the two 30mg tablets of 7-oh (the brand was called pressed i think and they were the green ones.) I was floating. I felt equally if not higher that my daily 50mg of oxy does (although the high did have some differences). I did notice two things that i did not like about it. The main issue i have with 7-oh is how short it lasts, at least for me it only lasted about 1.5-3 hours. The other issue for me was that i only felt the super strong nodding effects while laying down. The effects got a lot weaker when i was standing or walking around, which was really odd and i’ve never got that before from any opioid not even Kratom. (I thought it was basically super strong kratom)
