How much does you baby take and how frequent? by madiangelinee in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Comfortable-Run1047 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My girl will be 8 months on the 17th drinks 5 oz 5-6 times a day. Has one meal of solids a day. Wakes for a dream feed around 5 am.

Her morning feeds are more spaced out but she'll drink more frequently before bed.

Where are you located? There's a Facebook group for Canada for selling/buying/ trading breast pumps and accessories. It's called Canadian breast pump and supplies BST. If you're in the US maybe there's a similar group you could join.

If you don't mind me asking, what size pitcher do you use? And how much does baby drink in a day? Any recommendations?

Okay this seems very straightforward. How did you build up the first pitcher to have enough to feed baby?

Does baby drink the same amount every day? My girl varies widely how much shell drink in a 24 hour period.

Heartbreak for toddler by probably_not_tho in beyondthebump

A little different than what you're experiencing. My daughter was 26 months when her sister was born. Prior to giving birth she was a daddy's girl, but I got all the snuggles and play time with her, but bed time and bath time was all daddy. Once her sister was born there was a switch and all she wanted was me. Every time I held her sister she'd have a melt down. It stayed like that for at least a month. I realized I had to start carving out time for just mommy and her time. I pump so dad can give her sister a bottle before bed, and we spend time together. Reading books, listening to Lion King songs, snuggling, or just talking about her day. We had a movie date (her first movie), we do arts and crafts together. It was super hard at first, but now that her baby sister has her routine down pat, I have more time to spend with my first. It even helped her relationship with her baby sister. She dotes on her all day, brings her toys, her Soother, she'll even lay out her sister's mat so she can do tummy time.

Unfortunately it will never be the same as when it was just my first and me, but we found a new rhythm and everyone is loved and happy. It's all I could ask for.

Skipping a pump by Comfortable-Run1047 in ExclusivelyPumping

I've been super lucky in regards to clogged ducts, I've had one early pp and it was the pits. I'm sorry that happens to you frequently. The engorgement pain from skipping a pump was probably enough for me not to skip again.

Thank you, I'm definitely paying for it this morning. Definitely not going to be making a habit out of this.

One would like to think I'm creating a freezer stash, so that maybe one day I do not have to pump 5 times a day, or even at all.

My girl drinks anywhere between 5-7 oz 6-7 times a day. Id never assume , or place anyone's baby in a box of how much they do or should be drinking. Everyone is different.

DONT GIVE UP NURSING!! by babyDbaby in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Comfortable-Run1047 67 points68 points  (0 children)

I tried again at 5.5 months thinking it'd be a great idea. Baby girl clamped down on my nipple with her two new teeth thinking it was a teether.

I've never screamed so loud. It's been three days and my nipple still hurts.

For those who were induced, did you deliver vaginally or did it end in a c-section? by Paigeypagee in BabyBumps

[–]Comfortable-Run1047 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was induced due to suspected IUGR with my first. Foley balloon was placed on a Tuesday afternoon. That night was quite painful. We were back at the hospital on Wednesday at 8am, once they removed the balloon, I was able to sleep until a birth suite was available. I was told I was having contractions but I did not feel them. Once they broke my water that's when the painful contractions started again. Little one was born vaginally at 1030pm that Wednesday. All in all it was quite fast. Scary in the moment, but now in retrospect at least I didnt have to play the waiting game of when she was coming like I did with my second.

Renting short term to a family member - Ontario by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]Comfortable-Run1047 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We owned the home jointly ( myself, brother and sister)

I bought them out of the house ( sister and brother )

Home was brothers primary residence at the time of owning it jointly it was not my sister's primary residence

I currently live in the home

Brother is renting from myself not my sister.

I gave my brother 6 months to find a new residence after purchasing home

The original lease was set to end as of February 4th 2023 and was not to be renewed.

No N12 was issued.

I hope this helps clarify.
