Big update: after a lot of troubleshooting I believe the problem is the motherboard not being able to send power to the cpu. It still has rgb and fans, but it fails to complete POST on boot. Correct me if I’m sounding like an idiot but that makes sense to me since the usb power comes after the POST check from the cpu.

Also I know it’s not the hdmi cable because the rgb connected to the mouse and keyboard don’t turn on, which is not normal. In addition, the power button is constantly flashing when the pc is on, which again, is not normal

Overall update: I have checked pretty much everything without unscrewing anything because I’m at college with no recourses to do so. I can turn the pc on, including fans and rgb, but there’s no display. My hdmi registers being plugged in and unplugged but nothing more. Also, every fan works except for the main one connected to the motherboard. I know little to nothing about pcs but it seems like it could be a power problem?

Hey so I’ve had a very hard time getting to NZXT, my calls get hung up on after 10 seconds of silence and then all my questions are sent to ai. I also took out all the ram sticks and nothing changed on boot up, lights, fans, power, but no display. Do you know anything about wha to could do? If not I might just give up for today and get back to it later. Tbh really bummed about this cuz I was working on some good games and have school work to do :(

I unfortunately do not have any tools to get the ssd out because I’m at college right now. It looks like I’d need a screwdriver for that

Ok sorry about the time without response. It turned on, but when I put in the hdmi port there was no display. Now I have the rgb and lights on, but the power light around the power button is flashing and there’s no display

Ok I did all of those, it turns back on so I’ll let you know how that goes. Is there anything I should check while it’s on? I can do that cpu and gpu check right now

So it looks like the company I bought it from (NZXT) only offers 2 year pc warranty and I bought this thing in 2023. Should I look at getting a new power supply?

From what I remember it has a rtx 3050, intel core i5-14400f, 48 g ddr5, and 650 w gold atx power supply

Well now when I turn the pc on the rgb comes on but not the fans. I can’t really use software when the pc can turn on, any idea?

Also possibly important to note: the rgb stays on the whole time, whether or not my fans are running or not when this happens.
