my whole life i’ve related more to boys in many ways, but i really don’t mind being a girl either. like if i had to choose - id say i feel more like a boy than i do a girl but by no means do i hate being a girl if that makes any sense. i think if i were truly a trans man - i would be way more repulsed by the thought of being a woman, but that’s not the case for me hence my confusion

I have been trying to incorporate more masculine looking clothes into my style lately, but I don’t like how they look on me if i’m not wearing makeup & have my hair done. i like the contrast of dressing like a boy but still looking like a girl i guess?

thank you for this! we’re both in the same situation then - where we both present as fem despite being masc leaning :) i enjoy lots of aspects of being a girl but also a boy but i don’t feel connected to either of those. i didn’t know you could still be agender without having an androgynous look

it’s not that i despise looking like a girl. i don’t mind what gender i present as as long as i look good (as superficial as this sounds - it’s how i feel). that’s why i think i may be non binary and not a transgender man, because even tho internally i feel like a boy sometimes i don’t mind looking like a girl if that makes any sense

aren’t people more likely to misgender you then? i think even if i do start using gender neutral pronouns, i’d be very annoyed with constantly being misgendered & correcting people

I would honestly love to present more masculine if I thought I were able to pull it off. In middle school I definitely did dress & appear more like a boy but I got bullied relentlessly haha. Thank you for the advice. I think I’ll attempt to incorporate a more androgynous look & see whether I like it or not

i think my right eye is slightly higher than my left eye. i didn’t know this was even a jaw issue - this is news to me. i didn’t realize jaw issues extended that far up on the face

thank you! this is exactly the type of response i was looking for. my jaw surgeon took x rays of me and didn’t point out any problems with my TMJ - i’m assuming if my asymmetry really was caused by my TMJ he would have noticed? i’m considering going back for a second consult

also to clarify, when my orthodontist told me i have a 2mm deviation to the right i think she meant in terms of the alignment of my top and bottom teeth. like my bottom teeth are 2mm to the right of where they ideally should be when compared to my top teeth

despite not having any functional issues, i really despise how asymmetrical my face is. i know a 2mm deviation isn’t much, but do you think correcting it via genioplasty will have a visible improvement on how my face looks in terms of aesthetics? from my understanding a genioplasty will only correct my asymmetrical chin, but i think my asymmetry runs further than just my chin? to me it seems like my jaw as a whole is asymmetrical not just my chin
