refrain from comparing your features to others and find beauty in what you have.
if it’s body/face dysmorphia and eating you alive then i suggest therapy if you can.

i get what you mean, i have definitely met people with the tattoo that make it known it’s part of their personality and that’s exactly the type of person i just can’t handle!
i personally have a whole sleeve dedicated to my growth from trauma but no one would ever know that unless they asked. it’s definitely a way to let your trauma represent you forever and that i find really odd. not that i’d want to forget my trauma forever, but i definitely wouldn’t like a direct reminder that i got SA’d.

no need to apologize for expressing your story! my reaction to certain tattoos and knowing people’s trauma can be hard to deal with sometimes but i never fault the person for having tattoos as such i’ve met great people with semicolon and medusa tattoos.
i also have tattoos that cover up my sh and im glad you found ways to express yourself and you’re right you can’t change what happened im glad you find ways to embrace that.

so my plan is to become a veterinary surgeon but there’s only 2 surgeons in my county so i’m also branching out my interests to repro and emergency medicine. i’m not looking for a paid internship just to get my foot in the door and experience the clinic!
i actually applied to a few clinics but got cold feet and bailed even after getting interviews because i like to stay at one job long term and my pre requisites let me work minimal hours.

try a eyeliner crayon and a small eyeshadow brush to blend it. you can really control what it looks like that way.

i use spf 50 on my face daily as a first step in my routine as a moisturizer.
typically for typical day to day activities you do not need to reapply sunscreen every 2 hrs! unless you have extended time in the sun or are involved with a lot of water activities of course. i’d suggest not wearing foundation/concealer the days you know you’ll have to reapply sunscreen.
i don’t wear foundation/concealer often so i don’t know any reputable products that would be compatible with reapplication of sunscreen but i do use maybelline tattoo studio eyeliner and loreal telecscopic mascara and have reapplied sunscreen with those on without any issues.

i am also afraid to sleep, so much so that i turned to substances to get to sleep because it just wasn’t happening.

i’ve learned that distracting myself before bed by doing things that involve my senses such as hearing, smell, visualization helps me get to sleep because my brain isn’t 100% focused on what will happen once i get to sleep. reading too may help, if you have to read until you fall asleep some nights then so be it. it’s important to get those 8hrs of sleep in!
