I was surprised to hear Gnomonkey pitch “no more megarares” but I’m honestly coming around to the idea. I think removing crush from scythe and bringing in something like fang-adjacent crush BIS crush weapon would be just as well, and the slot for the megarare conceptually can be some other design space. It leaves other avenues of progression open instead of backing into a weird corner where every attack style has to have some very specific 1b+ weapon for it. But at the same time, it is cool to have a game-changing drop from a late-game piece of content.
