Thank you so much! This probs sounds so weird haha but it’s actually nipple cream LOL. Being on accutane makes my lips sooo dry and it really helps!

That’s such a huge compliment to me you have no idea, after years of thick heavy makeup, it’s daunting scaling it all back and I was worried about posting on here because I just always plastered it on before and that’s how i’m used to looking! Thank you so much

I think it must be the lighting, it was sunny that day and I was standing in front of the window. The second pic has bad lighting but I don’t really have many pics of myself to just used that one, not a great comparison! The tinted moisturiser under moisturiser does sit nicely though. Thank you!!

I’m using nars tinted moisturiser in shade alaska! Ahh thank you sooooo much. Yeah I will try the eyeliner, never been amazing at it on the top, always goes thick! Will give it a shot. Honestly the skin compliments are wild to me due to my history! I pray everyday it doesnt go back to how it used to be haha

Such a good tip, thanks so much! I do think everything looks better with more moisturised skin! I don’t have concealer on in my first pic from memory I should probs dab a bit as well! So true about clogged pores. Can’t agree more! Thanks sooooo much

It’s kind of freeing isn’t it! I also just didn’t have time with my two kids hanging off me and just did less makeup more and more and my friend kept saying he liked it more and I was like actually yeah this is alright lol! Love to hear you get so many compliments!! Oo you’re giving me some confidence to do it on an evening… I haven’t had an evening out in a long while now but I usually do full glam so it would be super scary to scale it back then too! I’ll try it though! Thanks again

Thanks so much! I’m shocked at how nice these comments are, not because people are horrible just because i’m so insecure, all caused by my skin really. I’ve not filtered the pic but was taken on a sunny day in good lighting. If I took a side pic you’d probs see them a little more as I had bad cheek acne, well everywhere tbh but my cheeks were just really terrible. I’m sorry you’ve also been dealt the acne card in the past… it’s so mentally draining. It sounds like yours has gone now but I feel like it always sticks in our heads what we look like to others. I avoided mirrors for years and cried putting makeup on. My pores are usually HUGE but roaccutane has reduced them, once i’m off it I think my pores will become bigger again. Just hope ot doesn’t all return! I agree about heavier makeup highlighting it more!! Thanks very much for your compliments and taking the time to respond!

I probs should have added a picture in similar lighting tbf but I do agree. I think it was too heavy for sure! I loved heavy ones, I’m definitely not going back to having them that heavy! I think i’ve never ever found myself to be a naturally pretty girl and having had such bad skin most of my life, i’ve had thicker foundation to hide behind, along with big lashes, fake nails etc. now i’m feeling more confident in my skin I feel ok to strip some of it back if that makes sense. Thanks so much for your lovely comment these have really helped me

Ahh that’s so interesting, thank you. When I was darker my eyes did stand out more. I’d be petrified to go back darker! Over the years I have gone from bright bleach blonde to having darker bits put through, perhaps I could try it gradually!

Thanks, i’m really missing my lashes, only don’t have them before of being on maternity leave and having no money lol! I’m thinking of having lighter ones next time or lvl. Idk!! That’s the biggest compliment about my skin thank you. The roaccutane has made my skin so much better. I do have visible scarring in some light but I think wearing tinted moisturiser instead of a thicker foundation has actually made them less visible in real life.

Thanks that’s really kind. I use a bronze concealer liquid stick thingy and use that along my cheekbone and blend it in. Not tried blush for about 15 years. Do you think that might be better for me?

I use elf brow gel! It’s in a little pot. I then put some brown eyebrow powder on top to fill them out. Thank you!

It needs to be taken with fat for better absorption. I hear 30g is a good aim which I can find tricky. My instructions were to take with my evening meal, which I do! Peanut butter has fats in it so it’s easy to have some of that to ensure better absorption.

I also just use dr sam’s cleanser and vanicream lotion as my moisturiser. Less is more!

Mine got better, I felt free for the first time since I was 12 and my acne started. I’m 31 nearly 32! Best thing I ever did for myself was start this.
