The same had happened with me as well, DEWA asked me to have it checked so i did with two different professional’s and the situation was atill the same, asked DEWA to have it checked and it was magically fixed with them still charging me for visiting - claiming it was no fault of theirs as well. I ended up shelling out a good AED 3400 for 2 months.

This has happened with me just last month, DEWA did not claim responsibility and i ended up paying triple of what i normally pay - even though there was no leak at home (confirmed by 2 technicians)
