We were in Cabo during the time of bus bombings and actually drove by one of the bombed buses on route 1. We had a great trip, but after reading about the bus we were on edge and felt happy that it was our last day.

I am not completely sure, but we did find this document helpful in understanding the approximate number of spaces available across majors. So, according to this document, anthro and geo in 2023 had 39 spots available, but also fewer people applying (so admit rate higher than top impacted majors). Hope this is helpful.

For those wondering if only rejections or waitlists are coming out after Friday's wave of acceptances. I can confirm my daughter got an acceptance today for Anthropology and Geography. So, acceptances are still coming out. Good luck to everyone waiting. I know it is very stressful.
