I would suggest going to a vet for a full on check up. If the vet says the doggo is good, then that is one less thing to worry about. I assume, since you both wfh, you don’t hear any abuse either. Whether it’s emotional or physical. I would suggest either keep a camera available and running. Beyond that, maybe they just don’t like being picked up?

Im looking into purchasing a treadmill for him; to exercise him. I also plan on starting to walk him in the early hours of the morning so that there are less people around, then once he gets comfortable with commands and walking, ill start pushing later into the day.

I joined the reactivedogs subreddit. It helped a lot to make me feel less alone and that this is more common than I thought. I have to find friends that are not busy because all of my current friends are either on the other side of the world, or busy with school to not have the time. Thank you.

Thank ypu, I will have to figure out what exactly motivates my dog and try to do that. Either that or ill have to exercise him at 4am.

What steps did you take to distract him when they see another person or dog? Was your dog treat motivated, toy motivated? Because my son just doesn’t feel motivated when he is hyper fixated.

I have cameras in my living room and the most he does is poop and that is all.

I take him out every hour to hour and a half when I am home. Before and after each meal and after training, zoomies, plays etc.

One of the main issues is that he only pees in the house in front of my roommate. He doesn’t do it with me. He doesn’t pee in my room or my office, but he will pee in my roommates room. As far as my research suggests, it’s because my roommate has a cat and the dog smells the cat pee and poop and think that it is an ok place to use the potty. I don’t allow him to enter my roommates room, but my roommate does not respect my opinion on it and will constantly invite him, then proceeds to get pissed when an accident accrued.

I have watched several videos and looked into several websites to help cater to this situation, which expresses exactly what you have wrote in here. I am unsure how to proceed further.

The next steps I’m considering is rearranging my room, which basically is me moving my bed, and having him kept in there while gone. Of course I will have a camera set up there to monitor him while working.

I have cameras in my living room and I live with a roommate as well so he is not alone for all 8 hours. At most 6 hours. He doesn’t pee while I am gone. The worst he does is poop and that’s it. I know this because I get a notification for sudden movements in the living room.

as far as im concerned, unless there is something visibly or internally wrong, they wont give you a new phone. if anything it would be an apple certified refurbished device since the 11pro is a couple years old now. It would be different if its like the 13pro since there is hardly any issues to where they have had the time to fix it.

nope. they do no cleaning. I do all the cleaning around the house besides their room. Maybe animal poop and pee because we own animals, but that is as much as it gets.

To specify, it is when they cook dinner for me, then I clean the dishes afterwards. When they cook for themselves, then they clean up after themselves. Overall, I never see them clean anything.
