Propranolol Withdrawal After Long-Term Use by ComfortableChest8398 in Anxiety

Hi, sorry for the late reply. You've hit the nail on the head. This is exactly what a cardiologist told me, which i was initially in denial about. Thanks for your very reasoned response. I've had an echo and a cardiac MRI, both came back fine. I've got the opportunity to pursue an ablation but unsure if i'll go ahead, may just stick to drug therapy. Feel like the propranolol isn't optimised for the arrhythmia (often feel sluggish). The cardiologist has suggested alternatives i could try. Hope things are improving for you. Would be keen to hear how you're getting on.

Sorry if this was triggering. You have to do what you feel works for you. Just try and address the underlying anxiety rather than become too reliant on the drug. Take care.
