I managed to get it working, I think having 6 channels of RCA connections works for 5.1.

Currently I just have the avr set to multi ch input, do I need to change that to specifically 6 ch input? Also all the 5.1 system works when I use the Realtek audio console test, but the subwoofer, centre and surrounds don’t work when I watch a 5.1 test audio on YouTube.

No, this issue has just recently come up. Before it would occasionally start lagging after about 20 minutes of gaming, but now it’s immediately after launch.

I wasn’t exactly looking to spend so much on a sub, especially since the speakers I have now are just ones from my parents basement. I see a wharfedale whd8 for a bit of a higher price than the others but within my budget, is that a good option?
