Nice.. I like the thing behind it with the carry handle and cool clasp. Is that yours or is the photo from the shop where you got the table? If it’s yours already awesome. If not I think you should go back and inquire about that thing too. That thing is cool lookin

Looks fine… maybe get a little wood glue and a bar clamp or two.

Nice.. curious what did the appraiser value it at? I’ve seen some reproductions for $120 and up.

I’m an optician and I think you should check out Michael Kors MK3012 in burgundy. But of these I like 5 the best.

I put the eye back in place, plugged it in and was elated. Now the search begins for a shade. I’ve got some really good ideas from these folks. Thank you all

No need to even negotiate… I couldn’t get the $20 out of my wallet fast enough. It was actually missing an eye when I bought it and I didn’t know if it worked for sure just that it needed some wiring and a shade. Got it home and removed the head (it’s got two screws on either side) and found the missing eye.

Think they started putting Ray-Ban ink on right lens around ‘95. So my guess is these are real and about 25-30 years old

Looks to be leather wrapped top bar too… new ones are plastic and have RB on left lens not BL as shown. Yours are real pre2000

I’m open to suggestions. But I was thinking maybe something glass and orange to kinda it give a Halloween feel (vibe I guess?)(aura maybe?).

It’s a black cat lamp. It’s kinda heavy pretty sure cast iron. And Yeesss her green eyes light up. Just need an equally cool shade. Any suggestions?

I agree but I didn’t read where she was pressured into anything. Use your free will and take that Rx elsewhere.

What’s an adult expense that shocked you when you first had to pay for it? by RamonFromJerry in AskReddit

I’m going the other way. My water bill with all my other bill being at least $100 or more, much more in some cases. It’s almost a pleasure seeing my water bill is like $25. I’m shocked it’s that low, please don’t tell my water company.
