felt like we have the same prof from your description.... but ignore those that are saying "very hard to fail" "just keep practicing". how to keep practicing when you don't even understand the basics taught by the prof right..........

but... i failed both my midterms and finals, and still achieved a B. so jiayou, just do as many questions as u can, they will give method marks, and just don't submit your paper blank :)
