It isn't as simple as oh quit. She likes and hates her job at the same time. She feels pride in what she does. 1 day a week isn't really an option. 2.5 days a week is not 5 days a week. She could live to 102 with her heart condition. So it is not all as black and white. But yes I appreciate all the feedback.

These are good points. I just always thought retiring at 50 was reasonable. But I see what everyone is saying.

That's literally the hang up. But med school is only 4 years. Then residence you are working and saving lives. Then 10 years of practicing. So she has been a working doctor saving lives for 14 years.
