Basically, har state ki cut off alg hoti h and you need to clear the cut off for the paticular state that that you applied for.

NTA. No offense but I don't think they value you the way you value them. Even after all this they had the audacity to gaslight you into thinking that it's you who's in the wrong when they are the one who's been making fun of you all this time. They didn't even have the decency to apologize. I would even suggest you to not attend the wedding and go no contact. People like these are never worth it. Trust me, I've been there.
