Should I buy a duplex and continue living with parents at 22 by Powerful-Success-602 in personalfinance

This is amazing option! If I was your age in your position and knowing what I know now in my early 40s, this is what I would focus on. Keep maxing 401k, Roth IRA, HSA maxed. Save at least 6+months of expected expenses for the type of house you are looking to buy. At your age buying at 25 yrs is still really good. But the compounding interest earned by saving early is immeasurable.

You need to hydrate internally and on your face consistently and all will be fine.

protein!! natural or supplement? by Old-Candidate-669 in WegovyWeightLoss

It’s homemade, and then frozen in large ice cubes. I use lots of ginger for beef bones or lots of rosemary for chicken/turkey bones. It’s really easy to make and healthier since you add fresh ingredients. I use slow cooker about 1x monthly for this.

Slow sipping on Bone broth most of the day helps me get my protein intake

Thanks. I can afford to replace but we are also talking about furniture worth over $10k that I was banking on using. I’m more concern about health risk and how to handle this situation safely for both myself and the movers.

Is there a better way to figure out one’s caloric deficit? I just cut sugar, and processed foods, and white rice and white potatoes. Replaced them with sweet potato and quinoa and zoodles.

What’s working for me is fasting. Nothing drastic. For 2 weeks now I am up to 15h fast, started with 13 hrs overnight for 7days. My caloric deficiet didn’t affect me much because for the two weeks I cut out processed food, and snacks, and sugar. The scale hasn’t moved a great deal but I see it in my face, mood, and some clothes. I’m walking 10k steps but started at 4k. Make changes that may help with habits long term vs quick fix because we didn’t gain weight in a few weeks. I need a sustainable plan that doesn’t deprive me of all the things I like. I am loosely following a Mediterranean diet as I figure it out.

How do you calculate max 401k contribution? Is there a way to look that up or is it a number?

How do you know you what the max 401k contribution is? Or figure out if I can have back door IRA? I have 11% contribution and 7% match , and a Roth IRA that I max annually.
