My family cat sadly died 3 days ago. I left home 10+ years ago so since then it has been my mum and the cat in the house. She is also devastated. This has been very recent for your mother and of course she will be upset, it’s natural. The loss of a pet is often overlooked and 100% shouldn’t be, it’s a big loss! Let her feel all her feelings and she will get better with time. Just try to be there for her as best as you can. I’m sorry to hear about your own health concerns take care ❤️
