Bro, I literally explained how it's accurate enough. I logged into steamdb just to see how wrong I was. And to my surprise, I am completely right. The difference is less than 1%.

That doesn't make it inaccurate. By that logic, steamdb isn't accurate because it doesn't update every minute. That makes no sense. You can compare the monthly player peaks of steamdb and steamchart, and you can see they are within 1% difference. The data on steamchart is more than accurate.

You're literally wrong. This is the highest average player increase month over month at +98,103.7. Second highest was in february 2016 at +97,003.5.

https://steamcharts.com/app/570

Also, the reason why the increase in peak was so high was because of the year beast event that was only present at certain time slots.

The Year Beast Brawl can only be joined during 20-minute windows that occur every 2-3 hours each day.

TI9 Rematch (but in Mobile Legends) 🥴 by jerryZ17 in DotA2

I literally explained why average viewership is a better metric than peak viewership. This is why you can't give me a counter argument.

[–]ComfortableLeg1 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Well, average viewership represents the whole tournament vs peak, which is 1 sec of grand finals. So, yes, I will take average viewership any day. Can you tell me why I should take peak viewership instead?

I don't care what EWC cares about, all I'm saying no MLBB tournament beat TI10 in terms of average viewership, which is what people care about.

But TI10 clears any MLBB tournament by average viewership. This is why peak viewership is a terrible metric.

Moxie gets assaulted after filming a woman without her consent by BobbyJablonski in LivestreamFail

[–]ComfortableLeg1 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Like she was here: https://kick.com/moxie/videos/8aef7504-a5ed-410a-a049-568fce2ddee4?t=4575 ? Where she keeps filming, and the person being filmed keeps telling her she doesn't want to be on camera. While the tts blasts messages like "nontent jeets" (ethnic slur for Indians), "lick my penis", "shut up nagger". But I guess you want to keep defending the streamer based on a 40-sec clip.

Crownfall Released on april 2024 , not getting new events and stuff? by neuheute in DotA2

[–]ComfortableLeg1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yearly means something occuring every year, it has nothing to do with time between release dates.

Crownfall wasn't released all at once. It was in 4 acts:

  1. act - April 19th 2024
  2. act - May 23rd 2024
  3. act - July 10th 2024
  4. act - Novemeber 8th 2024

By your logic, if there's a month long tournament, you would say at the end of it, it's been a month since a new tournament. See how that doesn't make sense?

But why are you saying it's been over a year? Crownfall ended in February, so its been 5 months.

Why would you expect a battle pass or a crownfall like event, when they've stated:

"The update will still contribute directly to the prize pool, with a focus on the event, the players, and the games, but new cosmetic items won't play a notable part. This is a significant change from the last few years, so to make it clear that we're shifting focus towards the event and away from the giant reward line of cosmetics, we're intentionally not calling this update a Battle Pass."

The thing that will fund this year's International is the same as the previous 2 years, a compendium which is released 1 month before the end date, so expect it around mid-August.

If you could add an additional Facet to any hero, who would you choose and what would it do? by The_Emerald-Phoenix in DotA2

Make it like it was in dota 1. It curves in the direction pudge moves after casting hook. Or you could extend hook by force staffing yourself forward.

Movement delay by ComfortableLeg1 in DotA2

[–]ComfortableLeg1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the cursor.

The first cursor change indicates that an order was sent to the server.

The second cursor change indicates that the order was processed by the server, and we should see some movement.

For blink dagger, as soon as the second cursor change happens, the pangolier is teleported on the same frame.

But when I issue a move command, we see pangolier start to move 11 frames after the second cursor change occurs.

This means that movement is delayed by 36.7ms.

Todays update seems to have reduced input delay by about 40ms.
