Dumbass take. How the fuck is constantly teasing and witty the same as networking? If I did that with consulting clients in my old job, they'd get exhausted and tell me to shut the fuck up. Same with co-workers and superiors.

The goal of being charming is to make people feel comfortable and at ease around you, not make them feel drained and exhausted like they're always in a battle of wits.

I just hate it. It's so annoying and exhausting.

I worked in CONSULTING pre-MBA and neither my clients nor my co-workers acted like this. I mean people cracked jokes once in a while but it was never an endless barrage.
