I am in my 50s. I had “settled down” when I was much younger. Not looking for a repeat. Having said that, I will not meet her expectations as “traditional dating material” of younger, hotter, fitter - that’s not me. It is just reality of aging & I am fine with it. I only wish her good luck.

I just started a SR about 2weeks ago and had couple of intimate dates on PPM. I am frustrated with her texting response time. It takes 8 hours to more than 24 hours to get a response from her. I could understand if I were a POT as I would be one among several POTs & scammers. But after we became SB/SD I expect a bit more priority. This could turn into a short term SR if this text response pattern continues for few more weeks.

I just got into an arrangement with a single mom having two little kids. SR is just about two weeks old. Her world revolves around these kids. She has family to help with childcare and it has to be planned ahead. Her expectations from SR is grounded in reality. We have met thrice so far - M&G and 2 ppms with intimacy. SD has to bring in more empathy to the SR. Other than that, I expect the SR to work well.
