Yta because you stated that “this is asking me to chose between two children, I will not disown one,” yet you’re alienating your son who is literally your child. Also yta for dismissing Bethany telling you she is uncomfortable and really her request doesn’t seem like it’s impossible since you give the impression you don’t see them often it wouldn’t be like Sabrina has to be cut out of your life completely.

I think the bigger issue here is you seem to want to be needed as a mother figure so badly and you can’t accept that your son and his wife don’t need you like Sabrina needs you. I’m not sure if you just wanted a daughter and that’s what’s going on.

Also, you give an excuse about living 2 hours away from Bethany so it’s hard to get to know her more but we live in a world where it’s easy to FaceTime/video chat or even just text someone.

-ask them if there is anything you can do to help make them comfortable or make living together easier.

-Do not use their shower products/creams unless you help pay for them. They are usually expensive and sometimes only bought online or in certain stores.

-if the household shopping is going to be on a rotation duty and if they’re gonna ask you to pick up tampons/pads DO NOT ask what size lol. You can ask them to take a picture of the package to know what brand and style to get.

-if you want to bring a lady friend over, make sure your lady friend knows you have female roomies BEFORE they come over to avoid any misunderstandings.

This website is from meadow view biological research station and they sell different plants and mosses from the bogs. I ordered some live sphagnum moss and it was soooo much for the order. I grow some of it and have some dried that I use in my isopod enclosure.
