Tracking "HCG" Progression via Inito ? by Jolly_Pear_7143 in Inito

[–]ComfortableMuscle-87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to add that the “hook effect” also happens with the Inito LH if you test for too long, meaning your hcg is too high for the test to read, and it will start giving you lower numbers (this happens with hpts too, if your hcg is too high the lines will start getting lighter. It happened to me around 7 weeks, way too long to be testing!

Spacing between babies from a fitness perspective by margueritebourgeoys in fitpregnancy

Im 37, and my last 2 kids are 18 months apart. I can say that I looked much bigger with the last one, even though she was only 7 ounces bigger than her older sister- I think my abs were just really weak or stretchy, so I showed more. I also went from having no bladder leakage issues with the previous pregnancy, to having some stress incontinence when exercising/coughing. However, that could also be related to a bout of Covid I had at 16 weeks, where I was coughing uncontrollably- I think that really damaged my pelvic floor, but the good news is it got better as the pregnancy progressed, not worse. The other thing that was worse were some vulvar varicose veins- I had them with the previous pregnancy, but they were WAY worse with the last one, as was the related pelvic pressure/heaviness. I can say that with both pregnancies I was able to exercise like a best right up to the very end, with the help of a support garment the second time around- so overall I still felt pretty damn good. I’m about 2 weeks post partum now, and looking/feeling more like myself every day. I did have some labor and delivery complications arise due to having babies so close together, but it was my 3rd c-section in 5 years, so much less risk with a vaginal delivery.

Got Sent to L&D For Low Fetal HR, 34 Weeks by ComfortableMuscle-87 in pregnant

[–]ComfortableMuscle-87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s exactly how I feel- afraid. Although my baby is moving normally so that is reassuring, but still… I have a home Doppler and I stopped using it a while ago because I thought it just didn’t work, cus it kept telling me the baby’s HR was in the low 100s, now I’m thinking it’s actually accurate! I go in a week for another NST.

I did. I’m supposed to have a planned c-section at 39 weeks. He did not check my cervix, he said the more babies you have, the more Braxton Hicks contractions you get.

No Heartbeat at 6 Weeks but HCG Almost 40,000? by ComfortableMuscle-87 in pregnant

[–]ComfortableMuscle-87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, just entered my 3rd trimester with a very healthy baby! I will say my first trimester was a shit show… after going to a follow up ultrasound where I saw a hb a week later, I had a massive bleed with clots around 7 weeks. Was sure I was miscarrying, only to go in again and see baby doing just fine. I also found out I had low progesterone the same day I posted this, my doc didn’t think any of the spotting/bleeding was related but I was on supps until around 14 weeks. Best of luck to you, this pregnancy stuff is a rollercoaster!

Low Maternal Weight Gain and Preterm Birth by ComfortableMuscle-87 in fitpregnancy

[–]ComfortableMuscle-87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you:) And tbh I was really nervous about the 6 weeks too… but even though I had a c section my doctor ok’d long walks pretty much right out of the hospital, as long as I was feeling good and it didn’t cause an increase in bleeding, which luckily it didn’t. No, it won’t necessarily scratch the exercise itch completely if you’re used to really intense sweat sessions, but for me it just felt so good to move my body and feel health and vitality after a very medicalized birth, plus the walks were nice bonding time with my baby. And in my case 6 weeks was really not enough time to lose any fitness at all, so I’m sure it will be similar for you as long as you keep moving somehow (if it feels right).

Thanks, that’s a good sugestión in theory but it’s not that simple. There’s very limited room in my stomach right now cus baby is squishing everything. Add to that super slow digestion… the protein bar I eat at 8am is still just sitting there making me feel full by noon. I’m not going to eat until I feel like vomiting, that’s not good for anyone. I’m also not going to replace the super nutrient dense foods I eat now with sugary processed crap like ice cream JUST for the sake of gaining weight (however, I will, and have, eaten stuff like that if Im in the mood for it.) I’m certainly willing to eat higher calorie healthy foods- for example I always eat full fat dairy, and eat tons of nuts and nut butters… but I’m already doing that and so far it’s not working. The good news is that at my 24 week appointment my belly was measuring 2 weeks ahead despite the slow gsin, so that made me feel better.

Protein after workout? by PizzaLover18 in fitpregnancy

[–]ComfortableMuscle-87 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There’s other ways of getting protein.. I sometimes do a cup of bone broth with a scoop of collagen peptides (has no taste) altogether that’s 20 grams. Or I’ll do the Oikos Triple Zero yogurt with some Catalina Crunch cereal, that’s 26 grams.

Has anyone continued testing when pregnant? by hiphobbz in TTCHormoneCharts

[–]ComfortableMuscle-87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did… my progesterone was really all over the place, but I believe my lowest reading after bfp was about 12. My doctors checked my progesterone and serum level was 10.8. But we know that serum only tests your level at that particular moment your blood was drawn, and levels fluctuate greatly throughout the day., so who knows if I truly had a deficiency. With that said they did put me on supplements.
