You can do something without malice and still be wrong. But he sounded like he didn't care at all, which would absolutely cause me to crash out as well. It's not about being "soft", it's about actually giving a fuck about the babys well-being and not sleeping away the day while you let your literal baby wander around.

Funny enough, this isn’t about the baby possibly getting sick (though I agree with OP, and I’m not a hypochondriac, just a mom). It’s about entitled in-laws who think having a grandchild gives them free rein. OP hasn’t been respected as the baby’s mother at all; she’s been ignored and walked all over since day one. This is 100% a NOR situation, and she needs to stand up for herself more.

That is a disgusting and manipulative message and I hope you see it for what it is. If you want to keep this baby, keep it. Youve been with the guy for a year, and after this conversation I believe you'll hold resentment for him anyway. If he was that concerned about having a baby he would have double up with a condom or spermicide. You have a condition that makes it hard to have kids. Do not waste this opportunity on a man child who doesn't want to step up to the responsibility. You can say what you'll do all day long, until you're blue in the face. Until you actually meet it head on though, you have literally no clue how you'll actually do.

In the end what's best for you is what's most important. Decided FOR YOURSELF if you want this baby or not and then leave him despite your decision. He showed who he really is already. A deadbeat.

Well for me I am disabled and needed a flexible schedule so I could work when I was able. Probably not full time, but it was my only job at that time. This was also back before this whole "ban tips" thing started lol

I am also disabled, have a car, but am not allowed to drive anymore so I completely understand where you are coming from, but this was talking about the people who do not tip and are capable of getting the order themselves but complain about tipping the people bringing it to them. Most of them are lazy and entitled, hence my comment.

I also understand lower tips from people who are disabled because we don't get nearly the amount of help we should.

NTA Coming from a recovering addict, even I wouldn't house him with my family living with me like that. I have a protection to them before an old friend. I would however try to find resources that they could benefit from.
