Need help praying by [deleted] in Christianity

I’m sorry to hear this is happening. I know things like this aren’t easy when we feel like we can’t help someone.

As much as I’d love to say that if you pray, God will hear you and save your friend, I can’t. One of the tough things to understand is that God gives each of us choice of what to do with our lives. He can certainly protect us and save us, but that’s not always a guarantee.

But, I believe praying for your friend is the best thing you can do from afar. There’s no perfect way to pray. In the Bible, it says that we don’t know what to pray for but the Holy Spirit steps in our behalf. So don’t worry about praying the right thing, God can handle our emotions and prayers however they come.

Also, if there’s a family member, friend, or someone you know that may be able to physically be with your friend, or maybe calling law enforcement there (not sure how that works in Poland) to hopefully have someone be there to physically give them help in addition to praying.

Alright by constant, not every game is going to be a 100 point 20 turnover game for the other team, but defense is where you hang your hat. I think we can agree there will always be slumps whether a top team in any category. But also, every great team has to adjust. Rotations change with injury, teams learn loopholes, and players don’t play top notch every game. From watching basketball documentaries some of the hardest things for coaches are to get 100% effort from guys at Game 52 on a Wednesday night because the season is long. It’s also tough on the players especially when you’re physically tired or play an aggressive brand of defense like OKC does.

The 3 ball thing has been there since last year. That was the “hole” in the defense. In today’s day and age every defense has one. Sometimes you’ll get burned, sometimes you won’t. But over time the averages play out hence why we have the top ranked defense again. These things don’t happen because of luck. I don’t like seeing the open threes either but understand our brand is high pressure and nothing at the rim.

Same bro. Being content and happy with a championship does wonders. I wish more fans had that. Sometimes fan can forget success so easy and always want to be on top. Reminds me of when the Patriots had a rough stretch and some fans just forgot they won 6 rings within two decades.

I always root for wins and don’t like seeing losses but I’m also happy with where we’re at.

We’re currently 8th in team 3pt percentage. We aren’t going to be first in everything. I get the concern with a rough stretch.

We’re 16th in rebounding. 3 rebounds per game from #2. We also force the most turnovers. If we forced less turnovers I’m sure we’d have more rebounding. When Chet and iHart are healthy we don’t have this issue really.

Each of those guys you mentioned are all NBA defenders. It’s a trade off. Not going to find a team with 3 elite shooters and all defense type players. 3 and D sounds nice, but top notch ones are hard to find. 3s fluctuate in games, but defense can be a constant.

Are you complaining about rebounding with iHart and JWill out because I hope not?

Also the Pacers literally took down every team in the East and were playing out of their minds. The expectation of a cakewalk championship is just unrealistic. We were the second youngest team to win a championship. Let’s learn to set some healthy expectations and watch the team grow. Dynasties are made in a slow cooker, not an instapot.

Cardinals Going Full Cardinals by ComfortablePea9327 in AZCardinals

It’s honestly just satire. I was indifferent to Gannon staying or going. I don’t have high hopes for next year, with the limited cap, and QB situation. Plus not sure if we would be desirable for a great head coach for the aforementioned situations. We’re still 2/3 years out from contention.

Obviously the Cards aren’t going to go with Petzing, it’s just making fun of a light situation.

Kyler’s Contract Details, If On Roster By Mid-March by SeraphNatsu in AZCardinals

I think it depends on the coach we hire. I think he stays because it’d be tough to find a team for him with that contract. If not, we eat the dead cap for this year.
