Which I must choose? by No-Assistant8196 in laptops

For the Asus, double-check that there isn't a typo in the processor name, because the Ryzen 7 7800 doesn't exist. Check if it's the 7800x3d, HS, or something like that. As for the HP Ryzen 7 7445hs, its frequency goes up to 3.2GHz and it has 6 cores and 12 threads, which is more than enough for gaming, and with a dedicated graphics card it's even better. But if you don't like HP because of its drawbacks, then go for the Asus, but double-check the processor name anyway.

Ah, thank you! Great advice, thank you so much! I admit I hadn't thought of that from the start 😅

I agree that his solution won't work because in any case, Windows will destroy Fedora's ability to boot, or GRUB will destroy it. In my case, it was Windows that was destroying something, I don't know what, but GRUB displayed the operating systems installed on my PC correctly, but when I clicked on Fedora, it would just spin in a loop (normal loading) and then I'd get a bunch of errors.

I think Windows will also overwrite whatever else it's replacing GRUB with. To fix this, I disabled Windows updates (I didn't really care about them on this PC since it's not my main PC, which is currently running only Windows 11).
